Easter...He has risen!

This Easter we watched the Passion and would like to make it an ongoing Easter tradition. As difficult as it is to watch, it is an extraordinary and humbling reminder of what Christ did for us and the torture He endured for US! He is risen!

This year we went to church near Greg and Alicia's and for probably the first time in my life, I was up and ready early which made us early to Greg and Alicia's. So early, in fact, that they weren't even ready and we headed to church to save them a spot. This is a true miracle folks. After mass, we headed over to their place and were joined by some friends of theirs and their 3 boys. We had great food and company followed by Uncle Greg spotting the Easter bunny in their backyard which led into an infamous Easter egg hunt. The weather was beautiful and perfect for a hunt. We had around 100 eggs for the 4 kids. Needless to say they each had their fair share! Emme had a blast finding all the eggs and placing them into her basket. She knew exactly what to do. And us adults knew exactly what to do too with all the candy in the eggs. :)
