After the horse riding, we had Joe's family over for pizza and cupcakes to continue the celebration. Emme was yet again spoiled with many wonderful gifts. We gave her a Strider bike in lime green like my nephew Baron has. She LOVES her bike and we are excited to see how she will hopefully excel in riding it. She also received a helmet, a "leaptop"/laptop computer, basketball hoop, books, and Thomas the Train cars.
Three days later we then had a combined birthday party for Emme and Hayden who will turn 3 on October 24th. The girls were pampered the day before by having a mini-pedicure at a local salon. Since we were having a triple baptism the next day, my parents, Joe's parents, and Mike's mom and sister were all in town. It was special to be able to celebrate their birthdays with all their family. My sister-in-law Carey made adorable tutu's for the girls. Hayden wore elephant ears, had a Dumbo t-shirt, and a pink tutu. Emme wore Minnie Mouse ears, had a Minnie Mouse t-shirt, and a black and red tutu. They looked adorable and wore them the entire evening. Carey also had a cute idea of having a "lollypop fairy" come to our house. The girls went in the backyard to find lollipops and other candy either stuck in the ground or laying on the ground. Needless to say it was a hit!
